A Sports Bar on Steroids
Dave & Buster’s, a one-of-a-kind playground for adults and kids, opened its first Western New York location at Eastern Hills Mall in October 2005. Travers Collins & Company was charged with creating grand opening buzz and recruiting VIPs to a preview event on the eve of the public opening. The mission was to garner media attention surrounding this unique new sports bar and to pack the VIP preview event with 1,200 movers and shakers. Being up against the season opener for the Buffalo Sabres didn’t stop Travers Collins from ensuring a packed house. In fact, the preview attendance totaled 1,435, and the opening garnered countless positive media stories. |
