While a student at the Jandoli School of Journalism and Mass Communication at St. Bonaventure University, Shannon Specht was sure she wanted to be a journalist. But after a few internship experiences, she became hooked on PR. Shannon joined Travers Collins in 2010 and works with clients such as Independent Health, St. Bonaventure University and Feld Entertainment (which produces Disney on Ice). Shannon earned an honorable mention for St. Bonaventure’s Mark Hellinger Award, which recognizes students that demonstrate promise in the communications field. Proving that life is a family affair, her husband, Charlie, was the Hellinger Award winner!

Shannon’s clients are diverse, and so are her interests. She loves Jane Austen novels and is a huge fan of Office Space. She even has her very own red Swingline stapler. Don’t try to borrow her stapler or, well … you’ll have to see the movie.
