Kathleen Rooney Promoted to Senior Vice President at Travers Collins & Company

BUFFALO, N.Y., November 5, 2007 – Buffalo-based integrated marketing communications firm Travers Collins & Company announced that Kathleen Rooney has been promoted to senior vice president. A Lockport native, Kathleen joined Travers Collins in 1998 having held director positions at Artpark, the Mental Health Association of Erie County and the Greater Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross.

Her clients include the Unshackle Upstate, American Red Cross, Catholic Health, Time Warner Cable, Dunkin’ Donuts, Klein Steel of Western New York, Taste of Buffalo and dmg world media. She has received three best of show honors from the Public Relations Society of America’s Buffalo Chapter, as well as an ACE Award for Communications Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicator’s New York Chapter.

A graduate of Rosary Hill College (now Daemen College), Kathleen is a member of the Kenan Center’s board of governors and has also served on the boards of the Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Irish Classical Theatre Company, the Allentown Association and the Niagara County Tourism Advisory Board. 

Kathleen and her husband, John Shera, reside in Buffalo.
