Community Bank System (CBU) is a small-cap banking and financial service company with 140 facilities throughout Upstate New York and Northeast Pennsylvania. The goal of the company’s investor relations program is: to reinforce the concept of a sound and appropriate business strategy providing investors with stable and respectable returns, clearly communicate its financial performance and strength, as well strategic moves which are expected to strengthen future performance, and create investor understanding that the company has no involvement in or exposure to the subprime lending activity which has been recognized as a severe threat to the banking industry.
Community Bank System’s 2007 annual report, developed and produced by Travers Collins & Company, received Honors recognition at the League of American Communications Professionals Vision Awards. The annual report ranked higher than 86 percent of the field at the world’s largest annual report competition, where more than 75 percent of the 3,161 entries did not receive award recognition. |
